Aventurine, aside from providing high protection to the team, triggers follow-ups, which recharge his shields. Meanwhile, Topaz and Dr. Ratio, both Hunt units, utilize follow-up attacks to unleash massive damage when used in their best combinations.
Robin’s contribution to the team is adding cohesion and damage. Her Trace passive increases every attack of Topaz and Numby because their damage is considered follow-up damage. With Robin’s activation of her Ultimate, she adds the turns of the team, more attacks and follow-up triggers occur. Her passive damage also fills in the team’s output, often over 100k in combined damage due to the sheer number of follow-up attacks.

Not only do these two characters provide Energy regen, but they also provide ATK% and DMG% boosts to the active DPS characters.
Although Robin does extremely well in teams that contain greater than a single DPS unit, she plays very well with Argenti and Imbibitor Lunae. Additionally, Robin is Skill Point (SP) friendly because she is either resting in her Concerto State or using her Basic ATK to accumulate Skill Points. This comes in most handy for Imbibitor Lunae, as he typically needs a constant feed of SP in order to sustain his damage.
An Energy Regeneration buff-heavy team is ideal for Robin as it allows her to use her Ultimate more frequently. However, it must be emphasized that this team composition, especially when paired with Imbibitor Lunae, may not be as effective without Huohuo.
