Armor Passive Tier List in Helldivers 2: Which Ones are the Best?
This list ranks the armor passives from best to worst, based on the game right now (version 1.002.003). We looked at how good they are in general, how useful they are, and how well they work in different missions and against different enemies.
Armor Passive | Why? |
S Tier (Amazing!) | |
Engineering Kit | More grenades are always awesome! Blow up bug holes easier. Destroy robot factories faster. Take down tough guys with special grenades. So many things you can do! |
Med-Kit | Healing more often is super helpful in Helldivers 2. With the right booster, stims can make you almost unkillable! No other armor power keeps you alive better than Med-Kit. |
Siege-Ready | This one is new and already one of the best! More ammo and faster reloads help you fight big groups of enemies easily, especially if your gun uses a lot of bullets! |
A Tier (Really Good!) | |
Democracy Protects | A good defense boost, especially when you’re starting out. It can save you from dying in one hit, which is great in any fight. |
Extra Padding | You can’t go wrong with being tougher! More armor means you take less damage from everything, all the time. |
Fortified | Really good all around, but AMAZING against robots! Helps you survive robot rockets and makes machine guns even better at destroying robots. |
Servo-Assisted | This is a top-tier power, especially against bugs! Throwing stratagems farther means you can call in help from far away. Grenades can close bug holes from a safe distance. Plus, it helps you not get hurt as much by bug claws. |
B Tier (Okay, But…) | |
Peak Physique | You don’t usually want to fight enemies up close. While less gun shake is nice against fast enemies, there are better ways to deal with them. |
Inflammable | Great for fire-based builds, especially on planets with fire storms! Good for using flamethrowers and fire grenades against bugs and those other glowing enemies. But only useful in certain situations. |
Scout | The radar is helpful for finding enemies, so you can plan your attacks. It would be better if it also showed you where to go for missions and side stuff. |
C Tier (Not Great) | |
Acclimated | The three enemy types in Helldivers 2 use different kinds of damage. You’ll never fight enemies that use all four types (acid, electric, fire, and gas) at once. |
Advanced Filtration | Only good if you’re using gas weapons. And even then, it’s not that amazing. |
Electrical Conduit | Only useful against those glowing enemies, and even then, there are better choices – unless you’re worried about accidentally shocking your friends! |
Unflinching | Less gun shake when you get hurt doesn’t really help you fight better. |
Conclusion:
Choosing the right armor passive in Helldivers 2 can really level up your game! Knowing what each one does and which ones are the best will help you survive longer and fight harder for Super Earth! Use this guide to pick the perfect armor for your next mission and go spread some managed democracy! Experiment with different armor passives and find what works best for your play style. Good luck out there, Helldiver!
