She is one of the highest Harmony characters in the game and is highly recommended for players with Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae as the main character. Sparkle is a Masked Fool and aspires to be a Genius Society member. She is defined as a woman who uses a lot of masks and possesses multiple personas, which symbolize her great acting talent.
During the Penacony arc, Sparkle was observed getting involved in various acts of thievery, assisting the Trailblazer on the right path while also making things difficult in the process. Although her genuine intentions remain doubtful, she appears not to operate as an antagonist yet.

Sparkle’s Kit and Best Cycle Rotation (At Max Level)
Sparkle is a perfect fit for Hyper carry teams, especially units that have negative DPS relative to skill points. Her skills are simple, and if used properly, they can significantly increase the team’s overall damage output. In addition, she is an incredibly strong candidate for S-tier in Honkai Star Rail. To better understand her playstyle, let us first look at her skills.
- Monodrama (Basic Attack): Applies a consistent single-target Quantum damage that is equal to 130% of Sparkle’s Attack.
- Dreamdiver (Skill): This ability increases an ally’s Critical Damage by 30% of her own Critical Damage, along with an additional 54% for a single turn. It also provides a 50% action advance for the ally. It is to be mentioned that this action advance does not work when Sparkle uses the Skill on herself.
- The Hero with a Thousand Faces (Ultimate): Marks teams up with Cipher and recovers 4 Skill points. This union provides a 12% boost to her Talent damage buff per stack, which lasts for 2 turns.
- Red Herring (Talent): The number of Skill points is increased up to 2 when Sparkle is in the battlefield. Also, upon using 1 Skill point by an ally, the damage of all allies is increased by 7.5% stack-wise for every stack, up to a maximum of 3 stacks, for 2 turns.
- Unreliable Narrator (Technique): The Stealth status is given to all allies for 20 seconds. The status makes allies invisible to enemies, and engaging in combat while its effect is on will restore 3 Skill points to each ally.
Sparkle’s Skill gives a direct Crit Damage boost to one ally and also speeds up their action, similar to Bronya’s skill. Her talent also increases the damage dealt by the whole team, depending on the skill points invested by her teammates. The buffs from Sparkle, however, do not last long, requiring precise tuning of your team’s speed to make the most out of her buffs.
While her stats require a high amount of Crit Damage to activate her buffs, her Basic attack will not be used often as a result of how short her buffs last. Thus, the best turn order for her is to act right after your main DPS, allowing her skills to maximize your main DPS’ performance and having them perform two action.
Sparkle has a set of impressive cavern relics and planar ornaments that can greatly increase her buffs. The following are the best relics, planar ornaments, and the main and secondary statistics needed for creating the best Sparkle build.

Best Relics for Sparkle in HSR
- 4-Piece Traversing Hackerspace (Best for Sparkle)
- 4-Piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat (Best Alternative)
The 4-piece Traversing Hackerspace set is ideal for Sparkle since it gives her additional notable speed boost after she has used her Ultimate ability. Alternatively, the 4-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat set is a good choice to increase Sparkle’s speed and attack.
Best Planar Ornaments for Sparkle in HSR
- 2-Piece Broken Keel (Best for Sparkle)
- 2-Piece Penacony, Land of the Dreams
For Sparkle to be at her best, using the 2-piece Broken Keel set upon breaking through the 30% Effect Resistance level is suggested. The build allows Sparkle to enhance her allies’ Crit Damage by 10% beyond what she has from her Skill.

Main and Sub Stats for Best Sparkle Builds
Relics | Main Stat / Sub-Stats |
---|---|
Head | HP / Crit Damage % > Speed > HP% > Effect Resistance % |
Hands | Attack / Crit Damage % > Speed > HP% > Defense % |
Body | Crit Damage % / HP% > Defense % > Speed > Effect Resistance % |
Feet | Speed / Crit Damage % > Speed > HP% > Defense % |
Planar Sphere | HP% = Defense % / Crit Damage % > Speed > HP% > Effect Resistance % |
Link Rope | ERR% / Crit Damage % > Speed > HP% > Defense % |
The Crit Damage buff provided by Sparkle to her teammates is dependent on her own Crit Damage, so it is crucial to maximize her Crit Damage levels. Then, focus on reaching the 30% Effect Resistance requirement for the Broken Keel set. Adding at least 20% Effect Resistance in her sub-stats is advisable, as her Traces also provide a 10% increase in Effect Resistance. Also, verify that Sparkle is at or above the 134 Speed Breakpoint.
Other than that, you can stack ERR%, HP%, and Defense% as per your requirements. You must ensure her speed is one unit less than the main DPS of your team.

It is also worth mentioning that the same effect cannot be used consecutively and does not stack. Such effects will be cancelled if the wearer is defeated.
